The "Embers Ignited EP" is another testament to Discrete Circuit's prolific year 2023. While celebrating a decade of AWAY events with the impressive compilation "AWAY 10 YEARS" earlier this summer, he also launched the six-part DJ mix series CIRCUITS, with each episode exploring a distinct style and mood, reflecting his deep love for all angles of electronic music and beyond.

"Swing Collision" starts the EP with a hypnotic, delicately crafted heads-down affair in which the percussion is focused on the essentials while the meandering motif takes care of the dark magic.

"Stormy Waters" resides on a deeper emotional level with its driving buildup. It creates an unsafe discomfort that becomes a hypothermic and heavy peak-time gem that leaves nobody untouched.

"Grout" is the straightforward conclusion whose hook is reminiscent of Berlin's shadowy prime-time techno anno 2009. Imagine a packed, sweaty dance floor completely in sync, creating a shivering energy despite its gold grooves.
